Neibaur Family

The Warren Neibaur Family

We hope to come to the reunion.

Our family moved to Washington and on to Eltopia in the spring of March 1965. We moved four other families of our help with us to Pasco. This year was a good year for us, god crops and climate 80 degrees to 90 degrees all summer long. We raised wheat, hay and potatoes. Our rented farm was east of the church house.

We enjoyed the new church house so close. We had to drive 20 miles one way to church in Idaho, from where we lived into Paul, Idaho.
We remember Brad and Ryan were involved with a play of the Book of Mormon written and directed by Susan Anderson Roylance. It was well done and Susan made arrangements to show the play also in Omak (I think that was the town). We helped them the cast up there.

Our son Brad left on his mission to Denver Colorado Mission from that ward. He spent two years there on a successful good mission and reported back there. I think Bill Rigby was bishop at that time.

Ryan was a Senior in Pasco and was friends with Karl Bleazard. He also went to college two years in Pasco. He married Vicki Ray, Ed and Shirley Ray’s daughter, from Pasco.

Mona and I helped Elaine Merrill some in her store and cafĂ©. Elaine’s mom was my mom’s cousin.

Mona stayed with the Wayne Eppich’s awhile when we moved to Richland. She wanted to finish her cheerleader appointment at Connell. They were so nice. Mona enjoyed friendships with Kathy Bleazard and Gigi Herron.

Patti enjoyed Kathy Ririe as a good friend. Her very first date was with Daren Gibbons.

We lived in Eltopia four years.

Us four gals picked cherries for Fred Steele and enjoyed it every spring. Mrs. Josephine Steele would send a nice box of cherries home with us for eating and canning.

I was chosen as counselor to Ina Woodard with Bernice Ririe for Mutual leaders. We enjoyed that position together.

We enjoyed Geraldine and Wendell Merrill. Wendell came Home Teaching for awhile. I knew Geraldine in Idaho as we were both from St. Anthony.

Warren and I enjoyed a lasting friendship with Mary and Grant Bleazard. We went boating and on picnics and played pinochle!!

Julie and Gordon Mathews were also good friends to us. We are still keeping in touch with them.

We have fond memories with a lot of you good people from there, and enjoyed our four years of staying there!
