Bill and Bonnie Robison memories

I move from Nampa, Idaho, here to the Columbia Basin. I came in 1955 to move a house from Kennewick piece by piece out to my unit. I was able to accomplish that in 10 days. Surprisingly it was still standing when I came back. In February 1956, I started moving my family and livestock and finished moving in April. I don’t know how many trips I made. I’m sure the Oregon cops would know more about that than I do.

I worked for Vale Construction for about three years.

We attended church in Bill Rigby’s basement. Some of my callings I’ve held are Ward Clerk to President Bleazard, Activity Counselor in the Mutual to Albert Johnson, taught Sunday School, Counselor in Elders Quorum to George Withers, a farm manager when we put the sprinklers in, Stake Sunday School Superintendent, Basketball coach (funny – we had to borrow a ball from the other team to warm up), worked in the Scouts, counselor to Bishop Ferris Naef, first counselor to Bishop Randy Ririe for five years, Mutual President under Lynn Bleazard, Nursery under Bonnie, High Priest Assistant to George Withers. Bonnie and I served three years on missions, Employment Specialist under Randy Naef. My favorite calling was with the young people.
